Southside Elementary School

Southside Elementary School is the largest elementary school in East Carroll Parish.  It is located on the south side of the Town of Lake Providence, LA.  It is a Pre-K through Grade Five school with five Special Education classes.

It has an enrollment of more than five hundred (500) students with a faculty which includes twenty-three regular education teachers, five special education teachers, a full time assistant principal, librarian, and Reading Recovery teacher.  More than fifty percent of the faculty have a Master's Degree or higher.  Additionally, there are ten full time paraprofessionals.  There is an on-site lunchroom manager and six food service technicians.  There are three members on the custodial staff.
