INTECH K-12
Louisiana INTECH is an intense, content-rich, 60-hour professional development program. Through INTECH, participants experience many examples of effective technology-based strategies that support and enhance curriculum and that can provide a catalyst for fundamental change in overall teaching and learning processes. INTECH participants also learn basic technology skills while focusing on project-based activities that are based upon the Louisiana Content Standards.
INTECH Science
INTECH 2 is a content-specific professional development program designed as a follow-up to Louisiana INTECH. INTECH 2 Science training was piloted during Spring 2001 and will continue during the coming school year. In this training, participants take a closer look at how technology can support the science curriculum. Participants attend in teams of 3-4 educators, but can range in grade level and science specialty area. INTECH 2 Science, a three and one-half day experience, is focused on inquiry-based explorations in a student-centered environment and how technology can support this type of learning.
LEADTECH
LEADTech is an intense, technology-rich, leadership-driven professional development program for Louisiana administrators. LEADTech participants experience more than 75 hours of instructional experiences within a variety of formats including face-to-face seminars, web-based courses, and hands-on technology application training workshops.

Louisiana Library Connection Databases
Established in 1998, the Louisiana Library Connection Databases are a collection of online subscription databases that are provided to the people of Louisiana by the State Library. The databases are chosen to cover the widest range of informational needs, providing educational and research materials for the elementary, high school and college student well into the undergraduate and graduate levels.
