TITLE I MEDIA CENTER

The Title I Media Center located on 514 Third Street serves as a nucleus for all federal programs activities. This facility includes a staff development center, a warehouse, offices for the federal programs director, federal programs/clerk technology, federal programs supervisor/parental involvement, federal programs supervisor/coordinator, federal programs bookkeeper, federal programs secretary, federal programs resource linker and federal programs janitor. The federal programs staff works collaboratively, with school administrators, teachers, and parents to provide the children of East Carroll with effective and innovative programs.

This center provides the schools with a variety of services. At this location, teachers have access to a state-of-the-arts staff development center to participate in many professional development activities that focus on research-based instruction and learning strategies, critical thinking skills, technology integration, grade level meetings and curriculum alignment activities. The teachers and parents are able to use this facility at any time. All supplies and equipment are shipped to the Media Center Warehouse and are inventoried and tracked to the school.
